Transcript | THE CITY OF HOUSTON. S. H. BRASHEAR, tjyCaitd/<?''ri., ^/v&czd; - Sept 21st, 1899. J'!r. I. Austin Miller, City Engineer, City. Dear Sir.«- Your favor of 20th instant referring to proposed sewer on Hogan Street is received and upon inquiry, to-day, I learn from Mr. Tuffly, Chairman Finance Committee that it is agreeable to him to report favorablyupon the proposition. My recollection is that the cost of this work, as estimated, will make it necessary that the plans and specifications be referred to the Board of Public Works. Will you please advise me by telephone upon this point at your earliest convenience? I presume the Finance Committee will make its report on Monday. Yours very truly, Mayor. '/Sfo 0~V |
