Dear Sir:- I take this opportunity of advising you of a letter that I have just received from some good friends of mine in Dallas, advising me that a committee of the City Council of Dallas together with the City Engineer of that City, will visit Houston, Wednesday and requesting me to take them in cloarge and see that they meet you and the Mayor of our City. They are coming for the purpose of investigating some of our city improvements. I advise you so that you might arrange your affairs in such a way, so as to have nothing interfere with this Wednesday if possible. j Can assure you that I will appreciate your coureesy in extending these gentlemen a part of your valuable time.
