Transcript Delta Nu Alpha Business GOALS REACHED BY TRIPS, MEETINGS Delta Nu Alpha and the Propeller Club of the United States were formed to promote greater knowledge of transportation, to foster scholarship, and to encourage young men to enter traffic and transportation as a career. Goals are achieved through meetings offering contact with experienced professionals speaking on transportation subjects, field trips to industrial and transportation facilities, and college courses in traffic and transportation management. Stock and Stolon ECONOMICS IS THEIR INTEREST Stock and Stolon Club, open to any student or faculty member who has an interest in agriculture or agricultural economics, was founded to stimulate interest in agriculture, to promote the interchange of ideas among students and faculty, to provide students with a better knowledge of job opportunities, to promote esprit de corps among members and faculty, and to provide a means of contact between students and members of the American Farm Economics Association. Objectives are realized through sponsorship of educational field trips for students and through a barbecue held at the beginning of each semester. The group also cooperates with the Houston Chamber of Commerce and the Fat Stock Show and Rodeo in judging contests and exhibits. First Row: Edwin Brown, Bob Baylor, Richard Burgdorf, Edwin Groves.
