Transcript irs onLY the BEGinninG . . . JrhI community is something everyone can be a part of. It gives people a sense of .acceptance and reassures them that they have people to turn to in time of need. The Houston community is that and more. Although, recently the city has surpassed Los Angeles for the worst air to breathe on this planet, Houston has some of the greatest and most diverse people in the nation. From Hispanic, African American to Polish, you name it we've got it. Everyone is proud to be a Houstonian and so is every student at this University of Houston. The city hosts the largest Rodeo in the world, the Eighth Wonder of the World and great old southern hospitality. Houston is also an entertainment leader. It boasts the second largest theater district and the second largest amount of movies theaters behind Los Angeles. Also some of the greatest entertainers come to this glamourous city, such as, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Tina Turner and Paul Simon.
