Transcript kappa alpha Kappa Alpha Order, a southern fraternity, was founded in the year 1865 and has as its spiritual founder General Robert E. Lee. Playing a prominent role in college life at the University, KA members entered Songfest, intramurals, and a Homecoming float. Their Old South Ball was, as usual, a smashing success. When April rolled around, the KA's were busy with their Frontier Fiesta show, Rock 'N Rye. KA members Bill Dube and Earl Kaiser played on the "Big Red" football team and Joe Wallis was president of the Pep Club. Collegiate-looking, Kappa members pose for picture. First: John Allbright, Larry Arnold, Alvin Aubinoe, Frank Bartle Dick Bier, Ross Bishop, Vaughn Boykin. Second: John Cornett, Harry Cullen, Roger DeBrandt, Leon Denena, Travis Duncan, Bruce Goetting, Harvey Grasty.
