Transcript The Vice- Presidents Vice-President for Academic Affairs, University of Houston System Roger L. Singleton served as Acting Vice-President, Dean of Faculties before his appointment as vice-president in 1975. He holds the Ph.D. from the University of Missouri and entered the UH system in 1969. Vice-President, Financial and Management Services Douglas G. Mac Lean has served as consultant to more than 1 00 organizations in personnel and general management. He was named to this post in 1972, after terms as Vice-President for Staff Services and Director of Personnel Services. 288 The Vice-Presidents Acting Vice-President, Dean of Faculties Ronald F. Bunn came to UH in 1967 and was Interim Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and professor of political science before taking his present position. He earned his Ph.D. from Duke University and recently served on the Task Force on Graduate Education in Urban Universities. Vice-President, University Develop- ment Patrick J. Nicholson will soon complete 20 years as a UH officer and is responsible for a complex of nine departments in the Development Division.
