Transcript Students discover PR To aid students in developing the highest ideals and principles of public relations, Public Relations Student Society of America acquainted students with the public relations professions. Monthly meetings featured guest speakers like Frank Weaver, Director of Public Affairs at Baylor College of Medicine. PRSSA along with the professional chapter co-sponsored a publicity workshop, open to the public in the Continuing Education Center with guest speaker Ray Waters of Pullman Kellogg. Majors close career gap Serving women students in the health and physical education fields, Delta Psi Kappa formed a link between the academic and professional aspects of the discipline. Members helped staff the Special Olympics for retarded children, manned concession booths at volleyball tournaments, and donated Thanksgiving suppers to lower-income families.
