Transcript mortar board Senior women honor others The Cap and Gown chapter of Mortar Board carefully reviewed and evaluated the achievements of UH's most outstanding women for membership in the national senior honor society. Primarily focused on promoting the interests of women achievers, the national organization revamped its induction procedure and voted to allow men to apply for membership in the future. Members honored respected professors with a reception and participated in state Mortar Board activity. Leaders plan Awards Day The most outstanding, representative, and distinguished students and faculty were recognized by Omicron Delta Kappa, the national leadership fraternity. Achievers in all facets of college life, members came from both academic and athletic endeavors and religious and artistic fields. As its primary service, ODK organized the annual UH Awards Day, during which campus organizations and departments distributed awards to selected students.
