Transcript The sisters of Chi Omega have passed down their ideals and purposes for 101 years. Friendship, community service, career developement, scholarship, high personal standards and participation in campus activities are just a few of the qualities Chi Os hold dear. A Chi Omega can be described as a hardworking, doing what she can for her friends and university. The diversity of the sorority is evident in the circle of sisterhood that Chi Os portray. Every year, Chi Omega sponsors the Chi O carnival, an event in which members of the Greek community join together and assemble a carnival to benefit the Chi O philanthropy, the Center for the Retarded. Chi Os also participate in various community activities such as "read aloud" at Hermann Hospital and local school districts. "Pledging Chi Omega, the largest national womens fraternity, is more than just meeting new friends and getting involved. Membership in Chi Omega is a special sisterhood that lasts and grows for knowing that you will always have a home away from home at Chi Omega!' said President Annette Garcia.
