Transcript Campus Unity Cheryl Luedke (Continued from pg. 161) Group members worked together to plan Cougar Kickoff in September, assisted the Athletics Department in promoting Homecoming and helped recruit volunteers for the Mayors Fun Run in January. "This is what this campus has been needing for 20 years — unification of student leaders," said Mike Sachs, president of the Inter fraternity Council. " Its vital that we continue to stress importance of CCL to future leaders on campus!' Jon Erickson, chairman of CCL and speaker of the 33rd Students' Association Senate, agreed, saying, "The dedication of the group of students we have has been amazing!' Because of the involvement of the leaders in CCL, he said, involvement in student organizations has bloomed. "The rebirth of UH is here. We're starting to become a university again instead of just a commuter campus',' Erickson said. Pam Stone.
