Various student organizations painted scenes on the windows of the UC with the Homecoming theme included. Wednesday night, students were treated to the Cougar Comedy show with a special guest hypnotist. The performance featured talented UH students that left the audience laughing. Students performed general comedy skits, including parodies of stereotypical football players and cheerleaders. The feature act was hypnotist Mike Mesmer'eyes". Through a series of experi ments, he had members of the audience acting out animal noises and performing other ridiculous and embarrassing notions. Friday night brought the traditional bonfire. "Standing out there with 500 other Cougars gives you a sense of the spirit you're supposed to be having in college;' said Frank Magallon, sophomore journalism major. Students applauded the organization of the celebration, a result of efforts from students and alumni. "All of the chairs did a tremendous job. They helped each other and gave it their all to make Homecoming a big success," said Bonfire Chair Sheena Cherian. Getting in the Spirit UH Students Commemorate Homecoming BY: Casey Garrett Homecoming
