Transcript PHOTOGRAPHY FACULTY Left to right: above—Mr. Smith, Mr. Mobley, Mr. Ferris, and Mr. Mubbery; upper right—Mr. Pouncey, Mrs. Pyke, and Miss Pyke. PHOTOGRAPHY Teaching all phases of the art of photography, this department is one of the few in the country that offers a master's degree in the field. The entire University benefits from the aid given by the photography department in pictorial illustration. Long hours spent in lab work processing films are rewarded in the end by the finished photograph. Processing, the unsung part of the work, is illustrated to the right. PHYSICS Education in the science of physics, long-regarded as a basic course for engineering students, has come into its own in this atomic age. Realizing this, the physics department has constantly broadened and increased the curriculum to keep pace with our modern civilization. Theories of energy, light, heat, electricity, and the many other divisions of physics are explained to the student and driven home by practical laboratory work. PHYSICS FACULTY Left to right: seated—Mr. Schuhmann and Dr. Zenor; standing—Dr. Long, Mr. Graves, Mr. North, and Mr. Johnson. To the right, a student measures with precise, delicate equipment. * 187;
