Sponsor Rosemary Moore James Collins Shirley Schuman _ Betty Sellers Shirley Engleman Ernest Caldwell _ Mrs. Jean Rosa _ 430 Each year two scholarships are awarded to the male and female members of Phi Theta Kappa, National Junior Scholastic Honor Society. This year five members went to the national convention at Little Rock, Arkansas. The convention is to be held on the University of Houston campus next year. Two candlelight initiation services were held this year, one in January and the other in conjunction with the Annual Banquet which was held in May. Membership is open to students who have not less than fifteen or more than fifty-nine hours, and have maintained a two-point-two average.
