First and foremost it is professional. It was organized in the spring of 1947 and has been active every year since then. The members work closely with the Physical Education department in such things as interscholastic activities, Texas dance symposium, and general professional activities. They also take an active part in the Frontier Fiesta and have done so since its organization. The main purpose of the club is to develop professional attitudes and to offer service to the University in any activity.
