Transcript ORIENTATION IS SERIOUS BUSINESS AND FUN Freshmen become a part of the University during fall Orientation. Besides official talks and meetings of the class, freshmen are subject to kidding by upperclassmen. Wearing red and white beanies this year, the frosh were requested to walk backwards across Cullen Gulch bridge. About to sing the Alma Mater of the University, Freshmen take this part of the orientation as serious as the president's address. Part of the fun comes when freshmen are asked to bow to the seal in the Cullen building. Here two freshmen girls obey the rules. David Lipp entertains at the Frosh dance, the social event of Orientation week.
