Transcript HOMECOMING DAY At an afternoon pep rally Tom Menefee, president of the Ex-students association, presented a bouquet of roses to Honorary Homecoming Queen Marjorie Reynolds, as Jack Valenti, Homecoming Chairman, looked on. Among Homecoming activities were a Red Masque play and a dance in the cafeteria following the bonfire. On Homecoming Day exes were honored with open nouses, a coffee, and a luncheon. Saturday afternoon, the big event, the game between the University and Stephen F. Austin, was highlighted with the presentation of the Homecoming Queen and a station wagon to the Athletic department by the Ex-students association. Culminating the two days' events was a semi-formal dance at the Crystal Ballroom. Miss Becker, Homecoming Queen, received a gold bracelet from Mr. Menefee at the dance which ended Homecoming festivities. Cheering for the Cougars at the Homecoming Day game, Miss Reynolds sat between Roger Jefferys, Ex-students association treasurer and Mr. Valenti.
