Brooks Historian Bert Whitaker The Escrollus Society was founded in 1945 for the purpose of bringing architectural students in contact with professional architects and providing for the study of the history, construction, and desiqn of architectural art through group discussions. It is open to all architectural students. A masquerade ball is the main social event on the organization's calendar. This dance is one of the biggest given during the school year and a queen of the ball is chosen from representatives nominated by the student body. Awards are also made for the best costumes. A show in Frontier Fiesta is also sponsored by the group.
