Transcript Representative College Classes Members of a French class look at a late edition of Fe Bayou, only French literary magazine printed in this country — and a publication which circulates all over the world. This class typifies work of the Division of Cultural Arts in the College of Arts and Sciences, which includes such fields as Spanish, English, journalism, music, public speaking, art, and dramatics. Some of these fields are represented in other sections of the annual. The Divisions of Social Sciences and Natural Sciences are two of the three divisions of the College of Arts and Sciences. Physics has been one of the boom subjects in wartime because of the great importance attached to the study by the military forces and war industries. A group of men in an advanced class work in the physics laboratory under supervision of Professor E. W. Schuhmann. Members of a drafting class in the College of Engineering work busily under the supervision of Mr. J. R- Brundage, seen helping one of the students. This is hut one of numerous classes in this college, which includes the famous pilot training program, begun at the University in 1939.
