Chi Omega was founded in 1895 at the University of Arkansas in Little Rock and was chartered in 1956 at the University of Houston. The Psi Zeta chapter of Chi Omega co- sponsors the annual Dance-a- thon which is a twenty-five hour dance that is DJed by several of the local radio stations. The proceeds go to help Camp Cougar. They also host the Chi Omega-Teke Greek Games and hold a social each fall, the White Carnation Ball each spring, and the Fall and Spring Eleusian Banquets. 274
