Transcript 'Home" to the KA's is 2207 Rosedale 'Kafifra s4tfr6a A southern fraternity, Kappa Alpha Order was founded in 1865 at Washington and Lee University, then called Washington College. A majority of KA chapters are centered in the old South and West. Active in intramurals and University sports events, the KA Rebels won first place in football, placing four on the all-star team. Bill Dube won prestige for Kappa Alpha and the University on the baseball diamond, Jerry Smarrt on the track field, and Walt Kelly and John Brasion on the gridiron. Leading the Rebel charge were Charles Derrick, president; Marvin Rhodes, vice-president; Leon Denena, secretary; and Harvey Grasty, treasurer. Studies suffer as KA's Bill Garrett, Leon Denena, Marvin Dibbens, Fred Groke, Cliff Acker, Bill Wyatt, Don Willson, and Paul Lay enjoy a late show presentation of "Gone With the Wind."
