Transcript Delta Zeta The wearers of the Old Rose and Vieux Green were founded at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, in October, 1902. D.Z.'s on campus participate in Bayou Queen in Frontier Fiesta, Homecoming, and intra- murals. Active in intramurals, the Delta Zetas captured the women's intramurals trophy by winning first places in football, archery, volleyball, and badminton. Campus offices claim Barbara "Rusty" Henkhaus, Panhellenic president; Nancy West, HOUSTONIAN editor and Headline Hop Queen; and Shirley Bridier, sophomore class representative. Juanita Barnes, D.Z.'s rush captain, was honored by being selected sweetheart of Delta Chi fraternity. Socials include an annual Big and Little Sister Christmas Party, Founder's Day Banquet, and the traditional Rose Formal. Carol Brown and Mary Jo Wondrak reminisce about Frontier Fiesta '58 while Gene Bonner, SMU transfer, and Shirley Bridier, Helen Calvert, and Ervalyn Thomson, new initiates, look on. At the '59 Rose Formal, Joe Pyle, Delta Chi, was Duke and Nancy West, DZ, was Dream Girl.
