Transcript Delta Gamma Delta Gamma traces its birthplace to Lewis School, Oxford, Mississippi, in 1873. Activity-minded D G's participated in Songfest, Homecoming and held their annual founders day banquet, spring formal, and buffet suppers. Outstanding DG's on campus are Pat Voight, ROTC sponsor, Billie Schneider and Carolyn Porter, band twirlers, Carin Cone, member of the U. S. Olympic Swimming team, Donna McFarland, University swimming team, and Janice Todd. Phi Theta Kappa. Major philanthrophy of the sorority is Sight Conservation and aid to the blind.
