Chi Omegas enjoy buffet supper before sorority meeting.
Founded in April, 1895, at the University of Arkansas in Fayette-
ville, the wearers of the cardinal and the straw were awarded the "Best
Sorority" trophy by Delta Sigma Phi.
During the past year, the sorority won first place in Homecoming
Floats, first in scholarship, and first in basketball intramurals.
Chi O's on campus include Marilyn Miller, cheerleader; Mary Kathryn
Jarrell, Homecoming Queen and ROTC sponsor; Judy Morriss, Vanity Fair
beauty; Pamela Williams, Judy Morriss, Sally Day, and Sandra Brown,
class officers; Judy Tussing, Deana Deanne, Jane Yoder, and Judy
Mercer, ROTC sponsors; Sue Zanne Myers, Sigma Nu sweetheart, Sally
Barber, KA sweetheart, dorm queen, and Best Dressed Coed; and
seven Vanity Fair favorites.
The local chapter was honored by its national organization by being
named one of the seven outstanding Chi Omega chapters.
