TKE (Tau Kappa Epsilon) is one of the oldest social Greek letter organizations on the UH campus. This year
a purchase of ,a new fraternity house on Park Place highlighted the Teke's activities.
The Red Carnation Ball in the spring at The Pecan Grove Country Club and a semi-formal Christmas Party in
the fall were two of the major events in 79 and '80. Included in their schedule was a Toga Party, weekly Keg
Parties and several picnics.
The Homecoming Parade saw the Teke's driving in their "Death Mobil" patterned after the float in the movie
Also included in the Teke's schedule, was their participation in all of the major intramural sports with
bowling as one of their strongest areas. For the second consecutive year, Tau Kappa Epsilon has taken the
all-school bowling championship.
