Transcript cJ&effisr tJaaa (W (j/~ riends last a lifetime, so long after the college days are over these friends flips are going strong. The Greek system was stronger than ever. Not only were the old faithfuls stiff around, with their numbers growing faster than the score of a typical UH football game, but the system expanded. What with the reco Ionization of such groups as Phi Mu, Defta Sigma Phi and Kappa Alpha, the number of fraternities and sororities on campus increased to 28. In addition, formal rush was implemented for fraterities which helped the potential rusheefind the right group. With the system grower faster than ever, students found a new friends that will [ast a lifetime. Michael N. Loria ^ UNIVERSITY OF HOUSTON ig Man on Campus is always a big Greek event sponsered by Zeta Tau Alpha. . .250 (j7j ush took on a differ- c..y^ ent meaning as the fraternities held their first formal rush. . .234 Cj£? igma Chi's Fight <t_y Night is another event that attracts a big Greek crowd.. .270 f^ nchorsplash! An event e3<Jf in which draws a big Greek crowd. The event sponsered by the Delta Gamma Sorority has both fraternities and sororities compete in a wide range of bizarre swimming events.
