Transcript Charity From The Henri Opens The Eyes Of Mnny Penny for your thoughts. Thoughts of human kindness and sharing were on the minds of Quad residents, as they united to contribute spare change in helping the less fortunate in the children's ward of the Harris County Psychiatric Center enjoy a more pleasant and merry Christmas. "We started by placing a can- nister in the cafeteria, and after receiving only 12.00 dollars we were a little discouraged," said Laine Bangilan. When the committee went door to door, an overwhelming response came from the residences. "We only expected 30.00 dollars, but instead we received 310.95 all in change," said Bangilan. "It took us about four to five hours to count the change, but it was fun," said Libby Ingrassia, QPB President. QPB used a portion of the money to fund a Christmas party for the children. "We had a large portion of the money leftover, and we don't want to desert the children, we want to stay apart of their lives and do little things for them throughout the year," said Ingrassia. -Thao Vuong. STACK 'EM UP. Quad residents pile up pennies for the Children's Ward of the Harris County Psychiatric Center. ROLLING IN THE DOUGH. Teamwork pays off in the end for Quad resident's who helped in the tallying of the change. PENNIES FROM HEAVEN. Laine Bangilan shows her enthusiasm over the amount of change that was donated for the cause. NINETY NINE THOUSAND PENNIES ON THE TABLE.
