To the dismany of many, the game was a flag football game, and the rules were softened somewhat for the amateur players. The girls were well coached and ran the plays well enough to keep the game interesting and running. It seemed a futile game when, by halftime, the score remained at zero for both sides. In the third quarter, Michelle Collins of the quad caught a short pass from quarterback— and ran the rest of 37 yards to score a touchdown and win the RHA vote for MVP. The two point conversion attempt by Helen Boyd brought the score to 8-0. With less than two minutes left in the game, Laura Bangston ran the ball across the goalline for the Towers, bringing the score to 8-6. The conversion attempt by the Towers failed, however, and the Quad team managed to keep hold of the ball and run down the clock to win the game. Nevertheless, this year hosted an exciting and fun tournament. -Mathew Mucker CHEERICheerleaders for Beauty Bowl gathered in front of the banners they made for the game. 2,4,6,8 WHO DO WE APPRECIATE.The beauty bowl cheerleaders get ready to perform a practice cheer before the game. 156 Residence Hods Beauty Bowl r 157
