Transcript SrfJlSutS&ie Cs/~ he new decade brought many great additions to the university. The appointment of President Marguerite Ross Barnett and the grand opening of the Science and Bxsearch Budding III, which was made possible because of Dr. Paul Chu's contribution to superconductivity, were just a few of the great changes. The university also celebrated the 40th Anniversary of L. Cutten, the Administration Budding. The students worked to maintain grades and raise GPA's. With increased enrolment, students deak with overcrowding and (ack of facilities. They cdso had to bare the unwinding tines at add/drop and fee payment. However, the students fuifihed ad of the expectations, and devoted then- time to contributing their knowledge to a great univeristy. -Kristyn Roberts (O^tudents were often *_S found hurrying off to class. While walking on campus, many could see that we are a univerisity filled with uniquely diverse people . . . 106 p^f t the 40th Anniversary t^Qf of E. Cullen many of administration were present to celebrate this gala event. Among them were President Barnett ... 80 /^"pyuring add/drop many o^y students became fus- trated with the policies and long lines; however, they did their best to overcome even the worst ... 97 G&&* hile listening to a Mr lecture, students busily take notes and try to absorb all of the information for that class period.
