Transcript Heai Wave s weat slowly drips down your >face. You can taste the salt as the beads of prespiration gather speed and fall off the tip of your chin. In Houston, summertime can mean only two things — heat and sunshine. As school lets out, many students head straight to the beach for instant refreshment as well as sun, sand, surf, and people packed like sardines along the waterfront. Some students decided to take advantage of the weather by playing a good game of beach volleyball, football, or frisbee. Other students used summer as a time for rest and relaxation. Jennifer Zuber said, "I just look forward to being out of school for a couple of months and not hav ing to worry about exams/' Stephanie Maher said, "I don't even wait for school to be out before I go to the beach-" ip I just look forward tt> being out of school for a few months and not having to worry about exams. Other people were a bit fltore daring. Mike Camacho said H# and his girlfriend were at the beatfi in February. "It was a little cold but, hey, it's never too co\d to pl^y football of frisbee." Some student^ looked at summer as a way to get $ome cesses out of the way. Sean Peoples said, "I only have 33 more H°urs uatil I graduate, so I'm going to «Re six hours this summer and make it easier on myself in the fall/' Everyone looked at summer from a different perspective. Whether you were taking classes, laying out, playing volleyball, or just recuperating from the previous semester, the beauty of summer vas that you have the freedom to ^o anything that you want to do-l*rebble McLaughlin 12 4' ^f^~ Student Lift
