Transcript The Events Banner Contest In conjunction with the Homecoming Kick-Off Ceremony, participating organizations created banners that was in accordance to the theme- Back to the Beginning: The Roaring Twenties. The banners were hung in the UC throughout the week. The Hunt Begins The Homecoming Hunt was a two day event which was aimed at getting people who would not already be involved in Homecoming. In the morning and afternoon, eggs were placed all around campus. The eggs contained sheets of paper that revealed a prize. Beauty Bowl The Residence Halls Association sponsored Beauty Bowl, a flag football game between the girls in the Moody Towers and the girls in the 'he Cougar Band Drum Line rocked the homecoming pep rally di their "Yell Like Hell" skit. Each window had a theme which corresponded to the Homecoming theme, Back to the Beginning: The Roaring Twenties. Yell Like Hell Veil like Hell was a compe- * tition which consisted of a yell or mini-skit that also corresponded with the theme. The skits were original and entertaining. They were performed during the pep rally. Spirit Award I he Alumni Organization awarded the Spirit Award to the Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. The award was given to the organization who demonstrated the best overall sense of spirit during Homecoming.
