Transcript Hillel RELIGIOUS Hillel Serves Social and Religious Needs Hillel is organized to serve the distinctive needs of Jewish students. Hillel provides a program which places primary emphasis on Jewish -content—on those religious, cultural and personal areas vital to students at UH. Buffet suppers with speakers, Friday night services with Oneg Shabbat, picnics, dances and projects provide an active and varied program. Social activities encourage members to meet new people. Through films, speakers and study groups, Hillel strives for discussion of student questions. The spirit of Judaism is emphasized throughout the holiday season with an uplifting program which combines the religious, educational and social aspects.
