AIIE Disseminates Industrial Engineering Info Advancing and disseminating knowledge of the theory and practice of Industrial Engineering is the purpose of the American Institute of Industrial Engineers. Through AIJ.E, a student member has the opportunity to become acquainted with the integrated systems of man, material, and equipment that Industrial Engineering builds. These aims are achieved by monthly meetings in which programs concerning Industrial Engineers are presented, and through an annual Essay Contest sponsored by AIIE. 390
