As a service project this year, Cap and Gown sponsored a reading of outstanding senior papers. This was open to the University and was designed to help students with the writing of research papers. Annually, Cap and Gown sponsors the Outstanding Freshman Girl award, which this year went to Karen Peterson, freshman French major.
