Transcript RESEARCH Dr. Hugh T. Freebairn studies the ripening process of bananas. Research Dr. Ralph Becker attempts to get an accurate reading on the graph as he works with thermochro- mic and photochromic compounds. Research plays a significant role on the UH campus. At present, UH has $2,000,000 supporting over sixty research and education projects involving forty faculty members. Among the most noted of the projects are those of Dr. Richard I. Evans in psychology, Dr. Daniel Sheer in psychology, Dr. Ralph Becker in chemistry, and Dr. Hugh T. Freebairn in biology. Sponsored by the National Science Foundation, Dr. Evans' project is entitled "A Social, Psychological Evaluation of Filmed Teaching Interviews with the World's Greatest Psychologists." In essence, he is attempting to capture on film the thoughts and personalities of the world's greatest psychologists. Among the noted psychologists Dr. Evans has interviewed are Dr. Erich Fromm, Dr. Carl G. Jung- Dr. Henry Murray, and Dr. B. R Skinner.
