Calma, Mr. J. B. Clark, Mr. Enlow, Dr. H. J. Sawin. MR. C. B. JOHNSTON Chairman of Chemistry Department Chemistry Department Students of chemistry don't "take it with a grain of salt." They take it with a grain of NACL, sodium chloride. Freshmen mingle with test tubes in a general chemistry course, popular for those following the Bachelor of Arts degree plan. Those who conquer the Bunsen Burner branch out into quantitative analysis and organic chemistry in later years. These courses are required for pre-med and pharmacy students also. Department Chairman is Mr. C. B. Johnston.
