Transcript THE NEW BAPTIST STUDENT UNION Opened in September, 1950 The Baptist Student Union is a voluntary religious organization offering a well- rounded program of devotional, social, and service activities to Baptist and Baptist preference students on the University campus. Membership in BSU is based on membership in a local Baptist church or any unit organization of one. Activities are planned and directed by a council of twelve students, which meets weekly to promote its work. Every other Friday a campus-wide BSU meeting is held in the Baptist Student Center at 3826 Wheeler. Each Tuesday students meet for a Bible discussion. iy«j i ■Ptf* Highlights for the year have been the opening of the new Baptist Student Center, and the promotion of "Noonspir- ation," a daily meditation program. BSU PINEY WOODS CAMP
