Cougars Score Two Over Trinity The Cougars beat the Trinity Tigers from San Antonio twice during the 48 campaign. Berg tallied 18 to share Cougar scoring honors with dependable forward Bill McPhail. Billy Joe Steakley, lanky Cougar eager, got "hot" in the second game with Trinity played in Houston. The former Milby high school ace poured 21 points through the hoop and played a brilliant floor game. The Cougars led at halftime 28-23. JESSE MARTIN CHARLIE CARPENTER LLOYD HENDRIX
