Transcript MARY MADISON—Associate Editor HOMER SURPRENANT—Fall and Spring Editor N. S. PATTERSON—Faculty Advisor WYN WARDELL—Head Photo Editor the 1953 houstonian MARY MADISON—Summer Editor The 1953 Houstonian Staff has endeavored to record in picture and word the activities and accomplishments of the myriad departments, groups, and sections of campus life. This endeavor is justified in the belief that students, faculty, employees, and friends of the University are interested in what has happened during the school year. Only by full coverage is it possible to compile such a record. The campus has been covered; however, errors are bound to creep in. These errors, and we hope there are very few, were not intentional. Any error of omission or misrepresentation is certainly regretted by the staff. At times the staff was woefully short-handed. Sometimes it was next to impossible to gather correct information from organizations. However, by checking and rechecking with different groups, the information has been accumulated, written, proofed, and published. We have covered the campus to the best of our ability. We hope our efforts will afford you a treasured record for the future. PETE LIDDELL, BERNIE GOODMAN and DICK SREWERT—Photo Assistants
