FUCHS - Historian This year's steady flow of local, national and international influences on the Diesel Club marks the steady progress of the organization toward scholastic betterment in the varied Diesel fields. Field trips designed to help correlate Diesel problems and practical application continues to be a high point in the club's drive to press its objectives. The Diesel Club strives to promote a greater interest in the growing field of Diesel power. This year the Diesel Club continues its promotion of job contacts. The club maintains close contact with all leading members of the Diesel industry. Jersey Lilly, the Diesel Club's Fiesta food concession, is remembered as the meeting place of the area leaders in the Diesel field. The club has continued to grow since its organization in 1949. Students in Diesel study or related fields are eligible to join. 183
