Transcript lutheran student association OFFICERS DORIS LINGNAU President ROY HENSEL Vice President CHRIS SCHUETZE Secretary-Treasurer MISS VICKIE NORSTOG .... Sponsor This association holds the distinction of having produced the first television program by any LSA in the United States. The program, "What Shall I Do With Jesus," was televised locally during the Lenten season. Members repaired and painted toys for distribution at Ripley House. "Circuit Rider," the association's Fiesta concession, became a familiar stopping place for many Fiesta City visitors. Eighteen campus LSA members traveled to Inter- lochen, Michigan, for the 1953 National LSA Convention. LSA was organized last year to bind together University of Houston Lutheran students. Sixth row: Johnson, unidentified. le quartier latin Le Quartier Latin's traditional Christmas party highlighted this year's activities for the club. Continuation of the collection of items for display in the French room insures future students a decorative and interesting place in which to study. Sponsorship of foreign movies, guest lectures and special programs form the basis of a sound attempt to study French cultures and literature. Founded in 1934 for that very purpose, Le Quartier Latin has consistently catered to all students interested in French and French culture.
