Transcript cougar "kittens" The University of Houston Freshmen, under the expert guidance of Coach Evans, followed on the heels of their big brothers by having a successful season. The frosh compiled a 4-1 record and averaged 28 points a game. They played and beat a college freshman team for the first time when they conquered Texas A&!,T Fish 26-20. The well balanced freshman squad came up with good tackle play in the persons of Blackstone, Willey, and Ackerman. The backfield showed a potent attack, with Cravens, Geddes, Cole, Teidt, Stegall, and Groce leading the way.
