Eddie Organized in 1874 as a National Pharmaceutical Professional Fraternity, Phi Delta Chi seeks to serve the individual College of Pharmacy and to strengthen inter-professional relations. Alpha Tau chapter, which was organized April 9, 1951, and is now the only chapter in Texas, requires a scholarship average of 1.35 or higher at time of admission into the fraternity and a full-time course load in the College of Pharmacy. Phi Delta Chi officers are Doyle Harrell, president; William Gee, vice president; Hugh Brothers, treasurer; Quillan McCoy, secretary; Al Bodun, master-of- arms; Cecil I.eBas, chaplain; and Bill Burgus, historian.
