Transcript Sigma Delta Chi, the national journalism fraternity, lent financial support to the Houston Journalism Assembly this year in addition to many other service projects. The 1955 national convention in Chicago was attended by the sponsor, Bruce Underwood and the president, Don Wakefield. Wakefield succeeded last year's president on the national and state executive councils. Membership in SDX is limited to junior and senior journalism majors who maintain a "B" average in journalism. Ted Nance served as vice president this year with W. D. Oana as secretary, John Pate as treasurer and Sue Zanne Myers as Sweetheart.
