Gebhardt, second vice president; James Lane, recording secretary; Thomas Spiva, corresponding secretary; David McMillin, treasurer; Roy James Nester, Jr., alumni secretary; Richard K. Funk, parliamentarian; Berton F. Young, historian; and Frank Markey, chaplain. Alpha Phi Omega ... is a service organization of college men who assemble weekly to develop lasting friendships and promote service to humanity. Delta Omega chapter at the University requires of its members a previous training in scouting, a desire to render service to others, and a satisfactory scholastic standing. Activities for the Alpha Phi Omega chapter include the Homecoming Bonfire, the Bayou Queen show in Frontier Fiesta, election polls. Thanksgiving dinner for St. Anthony's Old Folks Home, and the sale of football programs. Alpha Phi Omega spring officers are Ken Evans, president; Phil Coleman, first vice president; Dick Funk, second vice president; Bert Young, treasurer; Harold Niemann, recording secretary; Tommy Spiva, corresponding secretary; Jim Nester, alumni secretary; John Ledbetter, chaplain; Gerard Turner, historian; and Bill McKay, parliamentarian. 121
