Transcript The Business Intership rogram is discussed by F.L. Freitag, Director of Auditing for the local Tenneco Corporation headquarters, and Doug Holbrook, finance senior and AIESEC president. AIESEC AIESEC, a French acronym for International Association of Students in Economics and Commerce, is a student business coalition striving to build a closer relationship between the University and community. AIESEC members work with local executives to develop internships for foreign students abroad gaining managerial experience in different cultural environments. This past year participating companies were: American General Life Insurance Company, Bank of the Southwest, Baroid, Gulf Oil, Hughes Tool, M. W. Kellogg, Tenneco, Inc., and Tenneco Oil. Financial supporters were: Alaska Interstate, Esso Eastern, Exxon, Gulf Oil, Tenneco, Inc., and Wolff, Morgan, and Company. During the I 973-74 school year, AIESEC represented the University of Houston at business-student seminars in Philadelphia, Chicago, and New York City.
