Chi Omega's are forever participating in various campus
activities such as Sigma Chi Derby Week, Sigma Nu Bike
Race, Delta Sigma Phi Football, Pi Kappa Alpha-Phi Sigma
Kappa Rope Pull, Sigma Alpha Epsilon-Sigma Chi
Football, and Lambda Chi Blood Drive. They also show
service to their community by taking part in the March of
Dimes Drive and visiting different orphanages and nursing
homes. Their philanthropy, Chitaugua, held annually every
spring, has made possible the building of a new Mental
Retardation Center in Houston. Chi Omega's have many
first on campus — Best Scholarship, 14 times, and Best
Sorority Trophy, seven times, honors they currently hold
for the year, 1973.
