Transcript Delta Upsilon competed in city softball Delta Upsilon Under the leadership of presidents Luther Henderson and Jim Ewert, Delta Upsilon completed its first year as a chapter of the international fraternity. During the first year, DU participated in many campus activities and competed in all intramural sports, winning the Sportsmanship award in the Fraternity Division. Highlights of the year included a "Swinging Sixties" party and the annual Spring Formal and Awards Banquet at the Galvez Hotel. This year an "Unpledge Program" was initiated to teach the meaning of DU's four founding principles: the advancement of justice, the diffusion of liberal culture, the development of character, and the promotion of friendship.
