The little sisters bagged and sold pocorn at the annual BEAT RICE
Delta Sigma Phi
This year three men wrote an editorial to the Cougar
about the Greek system. Maybe there are more people on
this campus that feel fraternities don't understand the
purpose of a college education. Maybe standing on a
street corner from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. asking people for
nickels for the March of Dimes doesn't sound like much.
Maybe spending two days helping with the Texas Special
Olympics doesn't sound like much. Maybe going to a
nursing home and singing Christmas carols doesn't sound
like much. The greek system offers its members prime
opportunities to participate in campus, communicy, and
social activities. We of Delta Sigma Phi believe we have
the best to offer in each category of activity. For a person
to critique a play he never saw would be stupid. Likewise,
for a person to criticize the greek system without first hand
knowledge is nonsense.
