Transcript College of Arts and Sciences The broad spectrum of education offered through the College of Arts and Sciences enables the student to develop an awareness, comprehension, and esteem of the accomplishments of the world through a disciplined approach to the problems of society. The development of this student is achieved through the extensive core of subjects he participates in to fulfill his well-rounded education. The courses form a practical background necessary for all fields. It is common for a student majoring within the College to be preparing for graduate study or for careers in teaching, business and industry or the professions. Although the student is encouraged to explore a broad range of interest, a coinciding factor is the examination of one particular field in depth. ABOVE: Ronald F. Bunn, Ph.D., interim dean.
