Transcript Dorms mold friendships, become second home On a campus of over 26,000 students, it's really hard to become close to fellow classmates and make lasting friendships. Dorm life seems to change this situation. The residence halls bring movies, parties,.picnics and intramurals to residents who don't get the chance to go home on weekends. Of course it also brings the traditional gripes of malnutritious meals, empty mail boxes and noisy halls. But for everyone sharing the memories of dormitory life, is a sharing of what its like for dirty clothes and ironing to pile up. Also it provides a great opportunity for individuals without means of transportation to be on their own. Dips and daiquiris at floor parties provided a welcome break from studying for twelfth floor Moody Towers. A Christmas card or telephone bill? Electrical engineering junior, John Martin, visits the Tower's mailroom in hopes of finding a letter. Accouting senior Sharon Taylor greets a resident goblin during dorr" Halloween festivities 38
